Crash Alert: Driver collides with police cruiser near downtown Lincoln
LINCOLN, NE – According to KOLN, two people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash involving a Lincoln police cruiser near N 27th St and W St on Friday.
A Lincoln police officer was driving south on N 27th St, and its lights and sirens were activated when it collided with an eastbound red sedan.
First responders extricated the red sedan driver and transported him from his vehicle. They took him to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The officer was also taken to the hospital. They had minor injuries.
