Crash Alert: Hit-and-run driver strikes, injures man near Lincoln Heights

OMAHA, NE – A hit-and-run driver collided with an 18-year-old man near N 41st St and Bedford Ave on Wednesday, according to WOWT.

Witnesses saw the victim lying in the road before hearing a crash and seeing an SUV drive away around 4:30 a.m.

First responders transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

The Omaha Police Department is investigating the incident.
