Crash Alert: Officials ID woman killed in crash on W Dodge Rd
OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, officials have released the name of the woman who died in a wreck on W Dodge Rd EB near Skyline Dr on Monday.
A 60-year-old man was driving a 1996 Chevy K-1500 east on W Dodge Rd when he spun out, left the roadway, and slammed into a guardrail around 9:20 a.m. The truck landed on its side.
Louise Field, 60, was a passenger in the truck. She was partially ejected from the vehicle in the crash. First responders pronounced her dead at the scene.
Paramedics hospitalized the driver and a 10-year-old boy with non-life-threatening injuries.
Following the collision, crews shut down the area for two and a half hours to process the scene.
The Omaha Police Department is investigating the incident.
