Crash Alert: Snowplow driver fatally collides with trooper in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, NE – According to KOLN, a snowplow driver struck and killed a Nebraska State Patrol trooper on I-80 near mile marker 424 on Monday.

Trooper Kyle McAcy, 31, was responding to a crash. He was outside his patrol unit and was hit by the snowplow driver.

First responders pronounced McAcy dead at the scene.

The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
