Driver sentenced for deadly Omaha wreck
OMAHA, NE – A driver was sentenced for a fatal DUI crash that occurred at Fort Street and I-680 on April 10, 2024, according to WOWT.
Jordan Philips was driving a Nissan sedan when he collided with Samuel Rohl’s Honda Accord as he was turning onto Fort Street from I-680.
Philips was charged with manslaughter ad one count of motor vehicle homicide-DUI. The manslaughter charge was dropped as part of a plea deal.
A judge sentenced Philips to 19-20 years for the incident.
