Crash Alert: Driver fatally collides with semi-truck on US 34 in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, NE – According to KOLN, a man died after he collided with a semi-truck on US 34 near 310th Street Sunday afternoon.

David Noona, 53, was driving an SUV west on US 34 when he swerved into the eastbound lanes and hit a semi-truck operated by a 58-year-old man around 1:45 p.m.

Noonan died in the crash.

First responders transported the semi-truck driver to an area hospital with minor injuries.

The incident is under investigation by the Nebraska State Patrol and the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
