Crash Alert: Driver of stolen truck collides with another vehicle near Oak Hills

LINCOLN, NE – According to KOLN, the driver of a stolen pickup truck hit another vehicle near Northwest 48th Street and West Holdrege Street Thursday evening.

The driver of a red pickup truck was driving erratically north on Northwest 48th Street when they ran a red light at the intersection and struck a westbound white sedan.

First responders transported the sedan driver to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Following the collision, the pickup truck driver fled the scene on foot.

Authorities learned the truck was stolen.

Police are searching for the pickup truck driver.
