Crash alert: Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle at 30th and Stone in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred in Omaha late Monday night.
The Omaha Police Department said officers were called to the area of 30th Street and Stone Avenue at about 11:24 p.m.
Investigators determined that a pedestrian was crossing 30th Street near Kansas Avenue when she was struck by a southbound Jeep Cherokee. The pedestrian was pronounced dead after being transported to University of Nebraska Medical Center. She was identified as Sheryl L. Bringleson of Omaha.
The driver of the Jeep, 18-year-old Jameera Duncan-Gray of Omaha, was not injured.
