Crash alert: Semi-truck slams into Omaha motel, injuring driver

OMAHA, NE – The driver of a semi-truck was injured when his vehicle was involved in an accident in Omaha Friday night, according to WOWT.

According to Omaha police, the truck struck a car before crashing into one side of the Satellite Motel in the area of 60th Street and L Street at about 7:30 p.m.

The truck driver was hospitalized with injuries that were not regarded as life-threatening.  No other injuries were reported in the incident, but there was damage to the motel.

The crash remains under investigation by Omaha police.
