Crash Alert: Crews respond to school bus fire in SW Omaha
OMAHA, NE – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a school bus fire in southwest Omaha last Friday afternoon.
According to KMTV, the bus was making its last stop near the intersection of 48th Street and Bancroft Street when the driver saw a “flicker” from the engine compartment.
When the driver parked the bus and checked under the hood, the fire started.
It is unclear what may have sparked the blaze. Fortunately, no one suffered injuries as a result.
