Crash Alert: 2 injured in overnight crash in Lincoln
LINCOLN, NE – According to KLKN News, two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that took place in Lincoln overnight on Saturday.
Authorities say the crash took place shortly after 2:00 a.m. near the intersection of 70th Street and O Street when the driver of a Ford Escape rear-ended a Chevy Malibu.
The driver of the Chevy had to be extricated from his vehicle at the scene and was found to have life-threatening injuries. He was then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the Escape also sustained injuries in the crash and was taken to the hospital for treatment as well.
