Crash Alert: Motorcyclist charged with fatal crash in Westbrook

OMAHA, NE – Authorities charged a man with motor-vehicle homicide Thursday in connection with a crash that happened at S 60th St and Frederick St on May 7, 2022, according to WOWT.

Cody Dvorak was riding a motorcycle with a passenger, Brandi Stuart, 27, when he crashed into a pickup truck’s driver’s side door.

Rescue crews transported Stuart to an area hospital with a broken neck and a brain bleed. She died at the hospital 3 days later.

First responders transported Dvorak to a local hospital with a broken leg. He would eventually have the leg amputated.

Dvorak told emergency crews he had been drinking. He had a .312 BAC. Dvorak also tested positive for cannabinoids and benzodiazepines .
