Crash Alert: 4 hurt following 7-vehicle crash on I-80 near Millard Heights

OMAHA, NE – Four people were hurt in a seven-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck on I-80 between Giles Rd and NE 50 on Tuesday.

According to WOWT, a sedan merged into a lane occupied by a semi-truck at about 6:30 a.m. The semi-truck then swerved to avoid colliding with the sedan and rolled over, blocking all three lanes of traffic..

The initial crash caused a chain reaction that involved seven total vehicles.

Paramedics transported four people to an area hospital with minor injuries. All four have since been released.
