Crash Alert: Deputies investigate fatal motorcycle crash on NE 79 near Morse Bluff
MORSE BLUFF, NE – The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that happened on NE 79 near County Rd on Friday, according to KMTV.
Edward D. Trapp Sr., 66, was riding a 1995 Harley Davidson north on NE 79 when he failed to negotiate a curb and crashed into a ditch around 11:34 a.m. Trapp struck a tree in the ditch, which ejected Trapp and his passenger, Joyce Yarber.
Rescue crews pronounced Trapp dead at the scene. They transported Yarber to Fremont Methodist Hospital before flying her to Omaha for additional treatment.
