Crash Alert: Police investigate fatal DUI crash on I-80 in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, the Omaha Police Department is investigating a deadly DUI collision that happened on I-80 near South 24th Street on Saturday.
Maison King was driving an SUV the wrong way on Interstate 80 when the vehicle collided head-on with a sedan around 1:30 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced a passenger from the sedan, Ross L. Lewis, 26, dead at the scene. They transported the sedan’s driver, Kyle Arnold, 30, to an area hospital, where he also died. Another passenger was rushed to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
King was also taken to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
Authorities said King is expected to face several charges, including DUI and two counts of motor vehicle homicide, when he is released from the hospital.
