Crash Alert: Hit-and-run driver strikes, kills pedestrian near Long School
OMAHA, NE – A hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a woman near N 24th St and Decatur St on Saturday, according to WOWT.
A driver was heading north on N 24th St when they hit Danayjha Britt, 19, around 3:30 a.m.
Rescue crews transported Britt to an area hospital, where she died.
Following the collision, the driver fled the area.
The Omaha Police Department urges anyone with information concerning the incident to contact them.
