Crash Alert: 12-year-old girl hit by car following crash near Colonial Hills
LINCOLN, NE – According to WOWT, a vehicle involved in a crash hit a 12-year-old girl near S 48th St and Claire Ave on Friday.
A man was heading east on Clair Ave when he hit a box truck crossing S 48th St around 7:45 a.m.
The collision sent the car through the intersection, where it hit a 12-year-old girl.
Rescue crews transported the girl to an area hospital with a minor leg injury.
Authorities issued two citations to the car driver.
