Crash Alert: 2 hurt following single-vehicle crash on N 27th St
LINCOLN, NE – According to WOWT, two people were hurt in a single-vehicle collision on the N 27th St bridge over I-80 on Wednesday.
A woman was driving a Kia Soul east when she lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a concrete barrier. The driver then crossed all eastbound lanes and went up an embankment, where she collided with the N 27th St bridge around 10 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the driver and her adult female passenger to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
