Crash Alert: Police arrest man for fatal crash near University of Nebraska-Omaha
OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, authorities have arrested a man for a deadly crash that occurred near Dodge St and N 62nd St on Sept. 4.
Terrel Turner, 23, was driving a Ford Mustang when he fishtailed into an SUV driven by Vicki Avnt, 69, around 7 a.m.
The collision sent the SUV into oncoming traffic, where it collided head-on with a Chevy truck. The Chevy then hit another pickup truck.
Paramedics pronounced Avant dead at the scene.
Avant was pronounced dead at the scene. Another driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The other two drivers were not hurt in the collision.
