Crash Alert: Motorcyclist crashes into another vehicle near Bishop Park
LINCOLN, NE – A motorcyclist was hurt in a wreck near S 33rd St and Nebraska Pkwy on Saturday, according to WOWT.
A 35-year-old man was driving a white Dodge delivery van east on Pioneers Blvd access road around noon when he turned left in front of a westbound motorcyclist. The 56-year-old male motorcyclist slammed into the rear passenger side of the van.
Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The van driver was not hurt in the collision. He was voluntarily evaluated by an LPD Drug Recognition Expert. No impairment was suspected at the scene.
Authorities will decide on charges based on their investigation and the evaluation outcome.
