Crash Alert: Hit-and-run driver fatally collides with pedestrian near Ford Birthsite
OMAHA, NE – A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a pedestrian at Center St and 35th Ave on Tuesday, according to WOWT.
The driver of a silver truck hit Walter Tighe, 89, as Tighe was crossing Center St.
Paramedics pronounced Tighe dead at the scene.
Following the collision, the driver fled north on 36th St.
Crews closed down the area to investigate the incident.
