Crash Alert: Driver hits suspect fleeing police near Hanscom Park Pavilion

OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, a driver hit a man who was running from police at I-480 SB and Woolworth Ave on Friday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s deputy and an OPD officer had stopped to check on a stolen vehicle when the suspect ran from the car and was hit by a driver.

First responders transported the suspect to an area hospital in serious condition.

The incident disrupted the evening commute.
