Crash Alert: Police arrest teen for fatal crash near Millwork Commons
OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, police arrested a teen for a fatal hit-and-run collision that happened near Abbott Dr and Riverfront Dr on Tuesday.
Police say Christopher Renteria-Avila, 18, was driving a blue 2005 Pontiac Vibe when he hit a man walking in the right eastbound lane of Abbot Dr around 7:30 p.m. Renteria-Avila then allegedly fled the scene.
Authorities have charged Renteria-Avila with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident resulting in death.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
