Crash Alert: Driver dies after crashing into pole in Millard at high speeds

MILLARD, NE – A driver died after they slammed into a pole near S 144th St and Hillsdale Ave on Sunday, according to WOWT.

Brenden Patire, 24, was driving around 100 mph when he plowed into a light pole around 3:40 a.m. The crash caused the vehicle to split in half and catch on fire.

First responders pronounced Patire dead at the scene.

The Omaha Police Department is investigating the incident.
