Crash Alert: Train hits semi-truck on US 75 near Dawson
DAWSON, NE – According to KOLN, a train collided with a semi-truck on US 75 on Friday.
The Herzong maintenance train hit an Amazon semi-truck sometime Friday morning. The trailer struck a vehicle that was waiting for the train to pass.
First responders transported the driver of the vehicle hit by the trailer to an area hospital.
Authorities cited the semi-truck driver for several offenses.
The incident is under investigation by the Richardson County Sheriff’s Office.
