Crash Alert: Driver strikes, kills pedestrian near Pleasant Dale

SEWARD COUNTY, NE – According to KOLN, a driver fatally collided with a man at Pioneers Rd and 154th on Feb. 6.

The driver hit Darrel Thompson as Thompson walked south in the roadway around 9:15 p.m.

First responders transported Thompson to an area hospital, where he died.

Authorities have not cited the driver.

The Seward County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
