Crash Alert: 2 injured following 2-vehicle crash near Southern Hills

LINCOLN, NE – According to KOLN, two people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision near S 40th St and Old Cheney Rd on Friday.

A sedan driver was heading south when they hit a northbound pickup truck around 4 p.m.

First responders transported both drivers to an area hospital. One of the drivers had life-threatening injuries.

Crews shut down the intersection for over four hours to process the scene.

Officials have not released the victims’ names.
