Crash Alert: Motorcyclist fatally collides with another vehicle in north Omaha

OMAHA, NE – A motorcyclist fatally collided with another vehicle at South 77th Avenue and L Street Monday night, according to WOWT.

A person driving a Subaru Outback was stopped at the red light on South 77th Avenue when they entered the roadway. Geovanni Cardenas, 42, was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle east on L Street when he hit the Subaru around 8:30 p.m.

Bystanders performed CPR on Cardenas until first responders arrived. They transported him to an area hospital, where he died.

Police say charges are pending against the Subaru driver.
