Crash Alert: Driver hits pedestrian in north Omaha

OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, a driver struck and injured a pedestrian at North 30th Street and Sorenson Parkway Wednesday night.

A person driving a Ford F-250 hit the victim with their mirror around 9 p.m. The victim was outside a marked crosswalk.

First responders transported the victim to an area hospital with head and face lacerations.

Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene.

The Omaha Police Department is investigating the incident.
