Crash Alert: Officials release more info on deadly west Omaha crash
OMAHA, NE – Authorities have provided additional details concerning the fatal crash that occurred at North 72nd Street and Izard Street early Saturday morning, according to WOWT.
A 17-year-old male was driving when he slammed into a tree around 1 a.m. The car then caught on fire.
First responders extricated the man from the vehicle and transported him to an area hospital, where he died.
Investigators believe speed was a factor in the collision.
