OMAHA, NE – Giles Road will be closed from 132nd Street to 137th Circle beginning this evening as workers conduct scheduled maintenance. The closure will be in effect from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday, and from 8 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday.
The Nebraska Department of Transportation reports that Watts Electric Company will serve as the contractor on this project, which is to install utilities. Motorists are urged to exercise additional caution when driving in the area, and to avoid the stretch of Giles Road if possible.
