Crash alert: Driver hurt in accident on JFK Freeway in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – Police say an accident on the JFK Freeway in Omaha Sunday night left a driver injured.
According to a report by WOWT, the driver was heading south on Railroad Avenue before losing control and going through a fence. The vehicle ended up crashing on the JFK Freeway between Q Street and Gilmore Avenue. The person may have been driving while intoxicated at the time, the Omaha Police Department said.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and transported to the hospital. No details were immediately released on the person’s condition.
