Crash alert: Woman killed in rollover car accident
KIMBALL, NE – Police are investigating a car crash that claimed the life of a woman in western Nebraska Monday morning. KNEB reported that the accident happened on Highway 71, about two miles south of Kimball.
The victim was identified as 29-year-old Alexzandra Trujillo of Kimball. According to the Nebraska State Patrol, Trujillo was driving a Chevy Trailblazer southbound at about 6:30 a.m. when the vehicle went off the road. When she over-corrected, the vehicle rolled several times and Trujillo was ejected, troopers said.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators looking into the incident suspect that alcohol use was a contributing factor.
