The Nebraska State Patrol and local law enforcement responded to the accident scene Sunday on J Road. Investigators said 20-year-old Victoria San Miguel was driving a pickup truck west between 2nd Road and Merrick Road when the vehicle left the roadway, went into a ditch, and then ended up plunging into the creek.
San Miguel, of St. Libory, escaped with minor injuries and was treated at a local health care facility.
The NSP tweeted a picture of the scene, referring to the crash as a drunk driving incident.
