Crash alert: Victim identified after car crashes into Sarpy County creek
SPRINGFIELD, NE – Authorities have identified the man killed in a Wednesday morning car accident in Sarpy County.

The Omaha World-Herald reported that 27-year-old Ian Wichita of Omaha was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash at about 2 a.m. on 180th Street just south of Pflug Road near Springfield.
A Chevrolet Camaro went off a bridge and down an embankment before going into a creek, according to police.
Another person in the Camaro, 24-year-old Evelynne Harrison, was able to climb out of the vehicle. Harrison, of Omaha, was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
