Crash alert: 1 dead, 2 injured in head-on collision in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – A head-on collision in Omaha early Saturday morning left one person dead and two others injured, according to KETV.
The crash occurred at about 3 a.m. along Northwest Radial Highway, where police say 25-year-old Jayson Reliford was driving a Chevrolet Cruze when he went across a median and struck a car in the area of 50th Street.
Reliford was pronounced dead at the scene. Two women who were inside the other car, both in their 30s, were hospitalized with serious injuries.
Both of the drivers involved in the accident were speeding at the time, according to Omaha Police investigators. Alcohol may have also been a factor, police said.
