Crash alert: Driver killed when car goes off road on Kennedy Freeway
OMAHA, NE – A driver was killed when his car crashed on a highway in Omaha Sunday morning, according to the Lincoln Journal Star.
The accident happened on the Kennedy Freeway near the Interstate 80 interchange, and was reported at 11:39 a.m. Omaha Police said that a northbound Nissan Sedan went off the freeway and into a grassy area before catching fire. The man driving the car is believed to have died at the scene.
The victim’s identity was not immediately released. Police said there was no license plate on the vehicle.
