Crash alert: 3 injured in accident near Kearney elementary school

KEARNEY, NE – A crash near a school in Kearney sent three people to the hospital Monday morning, the Kearney Hub reports.

The two-vehicle accident happened at about 8 a.m. at 11th Street and 15th Avenue, near Kenwood Elementary School. Police said the impact damaged a utility pole.

The three injured people were taken to two hospitals but no details were immediately available on their condition.

Roads were shut down after the incident in the area of 11th Street and Fifth Avenue but reopened later in the morning.
