Crash alert: Suspected drunk driver arrested after vehicle slams into tree in Fremont

FREMONT, NE – A suspected drunk driver was arrested after his vehicle crashed on a street in Fremont early Sunday, according to the Fremont Tribune.

The vehicle driven by 19-year-old Birtolo Solis hit a tree in the 900 block of West 8th Street. Solis was not injured in the accident.

Solis was arrested at about 12:50 a.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol.

He faces several other charges as well, including driving without an operator’s license and being a minor in possession of alcohol.
