Crash alert: 2 drivers injured in collision of semi trucks in Box Butte
BOX BUTTE, NE – Two men were hospitalized after their semi-trucks collided in Box Butte this week, according to the Scottsbluff Star Herald.
Emergency crews responded to the scene of the crash Tuesday on Perkins Road between County Roads 76 and 77. Authorities said one of the drivers pulled out into the path of the second semi after his vision was impaired by dust from a passing truck.
One driver was taken to Regional West Medical Center while the other was transported to Box Butte General Hospital. No information was available regarding their conditions.
The Nebraska State Patrol responded to the crash along with the Box Butte County Sheriff’s Department and local first responders.
