Crash alert: Driver killed in rollover car crash in Buffalo County
ELM CREEK, NE – A driver was killed in a single-vehicle car accident in Buffalo County Friday, Nebraska TV reports.
The crash happened on Highway 183 north of Elm Creek, and was reported to the county sheriff’s office at about 8:20 p.m. Investigators determined that the driver of a Chevrolet sedan went onto the shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle rolled and the driver was ejected, suffering fatal injuries.
The victim was later identified as 57-year-old Valerie L. Hendricksen of Holdrege. No details were released on what may have caused the crash, but authorities said they did not suspect any foul play was involved.
