Crash alert: Multi-vehicle crash in Cass County leaves 2 injured
CASS COUNTY, NE – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a multi-vehicle accident Saturday that left two people injured.
According to the Fremont Tribune, the incident happened on Nebraska Highway 66 near 120th Street east of Louisville.
Investigators said 79-year-old James Terry was driving a Chevrolet truck at about 12:40 p.m. when he hit the back of a Honda Civic that was waiting to turn into a driveway. The Civic then went into the eastbound lane of Highway 66 and hit a Jeep Compass.
Terry and the driver of the Civic, 20-year-old Trevor Tyler, sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening and were transported to an area hospital.
The driver of the Compass, 45-year-old Jennifer Wilson, declined treatment at the scene.
