Crash alert: 1 hospitalized after Norfolk collision involving van and semi
NORFOLK, NE – A collision in Norfolk involving a van and a semi-truck sent one person to the hospital, according to the Norfolk Daily News.
Police responded to the scene in the vicinity of 13th Street and Elm Avenue after the accident was reported Thursday morning at about 11 a.m. Officers found a semi that had jackknifed on 13th Street and a Ford Winster van that went off the road and ended up on a sidewalk.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue crews extricated a passenger in the van, who sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening. No other injuries were reported.
The Norfolk Police Division is trying to determine the cause of the crash.
