Crash alert: Driver hospitalized following collision at Omaha intersection
OMAHA, NE – A two-vehicle collision in Omaha Monday morning sent one of the drivers to the hospital, according to WOWT.
Omaha Police said the 24-year-old driver of a Chevy Silverado was going west on Dodge Street and violated the traffic signal at 69th Street at 8:09 a.m. The Silverado crashed into a Saturn sedan that was going south.
The driver of the Saturn was taken to University of Nebraska Medical Center to be treated for a broken leg. The driver of the Silverado was cited for the violation, police said.
Dodge Street was shut down in both directions following the accident as crews cleared away the vehicles.
