Crash alert: Driver killed when car hits parked pickup truck on Highway 21
CUSTER COUNTY, NE – A driver was killed when his car was involved in a collision on Highway 21 in Custer County on Friday morning, according to KSNB.
The Custer County Sheriff’s Office said 65-year-old Daniel Jacobson of Broken Bow was driving north near Oconto when the incident occurred at about 6 a.m. Jacobson’s vehicle slammed into an unoccupied pickup truck that was parked on Highway 21 after it had been involved in a previous accident.
Jacobson was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported in the wreck, and no other details were released regarding the pickup as authorities continue to investigate the accident.
