Crash alert: 2 teenage sisters injured in Cass County car accident
WEEPING WATER, NE – A single-vehicle accident in Cass County on Monday left two teenage sisters hospitalized, reports the Fremont Tribune.
Law enforcement authorities and rescue crews responded to the scene on Highway 34 east of 96th Street near Weeping Water at about 5:22 p.m. The Cass County Sheriff said a 16-year-old girl was driving a Chevy Sonic when the car struck a cow in the road.
The driver and her 16-year-old sister who was a passenger were both transported to Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha for treatment, though no details were immediately released on their conditions.
